The Kansas Art Education Association has invited art educators from across the state to participate in the celebration by entering one work of art to represent every school. I am pleased to announce that the following students have been selected to represent Jackson Heights!
Elementary- Hadley Wessel, 3rd grade
Middle School- Teagan Bowhay, 8th grade
High School- Kryndon Proffitt, 10th grade
The Youth Art Month exhibit will be on display from March 2nd through March 26th at the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library, Monday-Friday 9 am to 9 pm; Saturday 9 am to 6 pm; and Sunday 12 pm to 9 pm. The Kansas Art Education Association will be sponsoring a Celebration/Reception for student artists, their families, and educators Saturday, March 26th, 2022 from 1-2:30 at TSCPL.
