The Kansas State Department of Education has approved USD 335 to have a K-12 virtual program. Calvert Learning is offered at no cost to K-6 families and USD 335 will supply an electronic device for virtual learning at home. It can be accessed on any type of device 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Calvert Learning utilizes Harcourt Science and Social Studies, which is also used in JHES classrooms. In addition to core classes, students can take elective choices for their grade levels including health, PE, art, Spanish, French, journalism or photography. Print materials are available upon request and can be used to complete most of the assignments in the courses for those families with internet connectivity issues.
