Power. Pride. Endure.
Strong. Bold. Driven.
Rise. Grind. Conquer.
These words don’t just define our powerlifting team—they were on full display at Horton High School on February 15th when six of our athletes stood against 222 lifters and brought home 16 medals! Their performance was nothing short of outstanding, proving once again that dedication, courage, and grit lead to greatness.
I couldn’t be prouder as a coach. Just when I think they’ve reached their peak, they surprise me with their strength, resilience, and commitment to pushing beyond their limits. I want to personally thank each of them—not just for their hard work, but for the trust they place in me, the patience they have in the program, and the unwavering courage to see it through.

We’re Not Done Yet!
The journey continues as we step onto the platform again on Saturday, February 22nd, at Valley Falls. Then, all roads lead to State on March 29th—we’re coming for it! Mark your calendars, and if you can, come show your support. Every cheer, every word of encouragement, and every moment of belief fuels our lifters just as much as the hours spent in the weight room.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents, families, and friends who showed up in force. Your support, encouragement, and yes, the delicious food, meant the world to our team. Jackson Heights Powerlifting isn’t just about lifting weights—it’s about lifting each other, breaking barriers, and showing what’s possible when passion meets perseverance.
