Jackson Heights is thrilled to announce Makinley Mulroy and Jarrett-Wayne Moore as the November Seniors of the Month.
JHHS Principal Derek Smith had nothing but praise for senior Makinley Mulroy, stating, "Mak has a kind spirit, she is a good egg from a good family. She has been an honor flight guardian for two years now, and her two veterans have enjoyed her company so much that they always go to Mak's events and support her." Throughout high school, Makinley has been active in Cheer, Volleyball, Softball, Basketball, Track, STUCO, FBLA, JCYC, Cobra Mentors, and NHS. Makinley has served as an honor flight guardian and attends the First Baptist Church in Holton. After high school, Makinley plans to attend Fort Hays State University to pursue a degree in Medical Diagnostic Imaging.
When asked about Jarrett-Wayne Moore, Principal Smith stated, "J.W. has always been a positive energy and has matured over his years. He is one of the first students I got to genuinely know my first year here as the principal. I respect him a great deal." J.W. has participated in Football, Baseball, FFA, and NHS. J.W. has also served as an honor flight guardian and a member of the boy scouts, where he earned the prestigious Eagle Scout Award. After graduation, J.W. plans to play college football and major in Kinesiology.
Congratulations to Makinley Mulroy and J.W. Moore for being named November Seniors of the Month.
