The month of October brought an exciting burst of energy to Jackson Heights High School as House Corn Fed Cobras took the reins of the Cobra House Games. While they chose not to participate directly in the events, they orchestrated a series of thrilling challenges that brought out the best in their fellow houses. The results of the first Friday, on October 6th, were a testament to the remarkable teamwork, resilience, and competitive spirit of the participating houses.
Team Challenges:
Gold Rush seized the day by securing first place in the Gold Rush challenge, showcasing their determination and dedication to the Cobra Cup. Their unwavering commitment to excellence in each event was palpable throughout the day. Snake Kingz put up an impressive performance, clinching second place, while Triple G demonstrated their prowess with a solid third-place finish.
Individual Challenges:
The individual challenges were no less thrilling. In the Free Throw competition, it was Gold Rush who emerged victorious, showcasing their prowess in basketball. Triple G and Snake Kingz followed closely behind, demonstrating their own impressive skills on the court.
Tug of War saw Gold Rush once again claiming the top spot, displaying their exceptional teamwork and determination. Triple G and Snake Kingz, equally committed to the challenge, secured second and third place, respectively.
The Escape Room challenge, a test of wit and teamwork, was dominated by Triple G, who showed their aptitude for problem-solving and collaboration. Snake Kingz and Gold Rush put up fierce competition, landing in second and third place.
In the Tower Building competition, it was Gold Rush who outshone the competition, with Snake Kingz and Triple G following closely behind in second and third place, respectively.
The Battleship challenge saw Snake Kingz rising to the occasion, navigating the treacherous seas of strategy and cunning. Gold Rush and Triple G battled valiantly, securing second and third place.
The final challenge of the day, the Bucket Race, witnessed Snake Kingz sprinting to victory, closely followed by Gold Rush and Triple G in second and third place.
